Congratulations Auntie Carrie & Uncle Brodie!

The big day for Auntie Carrie and Uncle Brodie has finally come and what a fantastic day it was. Our weekend was filled with wedding events, first it was mani/pedi’s, then the rehearsal dinner and then the wedding. Our entire family was in the wedding; Daddy was the Best Man, Mommy was a Bridesmaid and Paige and I were flower girls along with Sophie. We all looked beautiful and we had so much fun. Everyone kept telling me what a great job I did walking down the isle, I did exactly what I was told. Sorry no pics tonight of the ceremony, we were all al little too busy, we can’t wait to see the pictures the photographer got. We do however have some to share from the rest of the day/night!

Mommy and Daddy let us stay up until 10:30pm, then we got to go on a big yellow school bus with Gigi back to our hotel while everyone stayed out even later to party some more. I think they were all feeling a little tired this morning and they kept using the word “Hungover”, not sure what that means!!! CIMG4439

I have so many other pictures to share that we have taken over the past few weeks. We have once again been very busy and just haven’t had the time to blog, but I guess better late than never! Here are some pictures from Halloween night. Paige and I were really lucky we had Gigi and Pop-Pop & Granny in town to spend halloween night. They all came out with us tricker or treating, it was a beautiful night, not nearly as nice as what we are use to in Tennessee but not bad for a Canadian halloween night. I dressed up as Snow White and Paige was Tinkerbell…we got lots of neighbors telling us how cute we both were, I think our costumes were a hit! Our neighborhood was really busy for halloween night, we got 120 people at our door!CIMG4396

Check out the pumpkin in this picture, who does it look like…Tinkerbell maybe! Daddy carved this pumpkin for Paige and I and he did a great job. We carved 5 pumpkins the night before halloween, Granny and Pop-Pop brought us 4 from the family farm in Mallorytown, which meant we all got to carve our own pumpkin! CIMG4404

The weather was really nice when Gigi and Granny & Pop-Pop were in town to visit, so we made sure to get outside and play. We helped Daddy clean up all the leaves on our front lawn! When we were done playing we got to go in and warm up but Daddy and Pop-Pop stayed out to get our yard winter ready, something we aren’t use to doing!!! Canadian winter here we come…

We also got to have some fun one morning at the mall down the street. We all headed out to see a Live My Little Pony show, it was so neat. There were three of the Ponies there; Twilight, Rainbow Dash and AppleJack, they sang and danced, Paige and I loved every minute of it!

Over the past few weeks I have been taking skating lessons at a local arena. My first day on the ice was tough, I had troubles standing but by lesson #3, I could move on my own, turn in a circle and get up and down, everyone says I am doing great. Here are a few pics Mommy took on lesson #2…Daddy is on the ice with me to help!

Mommy has been working really long hours lately, her work is swamped right now. But she made it up to Paige and I one night last week, she came home and we spent the evening baking our favorite things. We made cupcakes and peanut butter cookies, they were all very yummy!

Since Mommy has had to work so much lately, Gigi decided to come down and spend some time here and help out around the house. We all appreciate Gigi’s help, I know it makes Mommy feel better knowing that she can always count on her! Thanks Gigi!!!

Well, that is all for now, time to get ready for bed. Hope everyone has a great week. Next time I blog will be after our vacation to the Bahamas, this time next weekend we will be relaxing at our resort, we can’t wait!

Love y’all,
Emmie & Paige
