Summer time, summer time...we love it outside!

We have been spending lots of time outside over the past week or so because our weather has been beautiful, a little hot but we like it! Mommy and I have been doing crafts outside everyday, either with paint, playdo and colouring.

We have been swimming in the pool almost everyday, I love the water and I am becoming quite the swimmer. Baby Paige also loves it in the water, she likes to kick, kick, kick...
Dexter loves hanging out with Paige on the blanket outside and he also seems to like having his picture taken as well, silly doggy!!!
This year Mommy and Daddy made a garden in our backyard and we are finally starting to get some vegetables; we have peas, beans, tons and tons of tomatoes, celery, green peppers and carrots. We ate some beans at dinner last night and they were very yummy.
Another exciting piece of news is that I am doing an awesome job at potty training. For the past week I have been wearing big girl panties and using both my little potty and the big one as well. I am still learning but doing well so far, Mommy and Daddy keep telling me they are very proud of me.
Last weekend we were pretty busy on Saturday, we went for a long hike in the morning to this beautiful waterfall. We went with one of daddy's doctor friends, Dr. Kristin, her husband Jason and their two cute dogs, Allie and Molly. Mommy and Daddy were pretty sore after the hike, I don't know why, Paige and I felt just fine!!!

After our long hike we had Fisher's 3rd birthday party to go to. There were tons of kids and we had lots of things to play with, including a pinata!
Here is a picture of Daddy, Paige and I relaxing on the swing near the end of the party, we were pooped!
We have been reading lots of books lately, it is one of my favorite things to do. Here is Daddy reading to both baby Paige and I.

Baby Paige seems to really like playing with me and looking at me. I get down on her level and lay with her on the floor and she just loves it, sometimes I even sing her songs. Check out the video below of me singing to her.

Well, that is all for now, we gotta run. We are going on another family hike this morning, we are going to go and see some big, big, mountains!

Congratulations to our Uncle Ryan!

We are so proud of Uncle Ryan, he graduated from Police College on Friday. We all wanted to be together to celebrate with him and attend the ceremony but we couldn't afford to go back to Canada so soon. Thankfully Uncle Ryan ended up paying to fly us home so we could be there. Thanks Uncle Ryan, you are awesome!!!
The ceremony was really neat, they played music and did lots of marching. When it got the speeches Paige and I weren't all that interested anymore but everyone said we did really well!
After the ceremony there was a reception where we got to meet a bunch of people that work with Uncle Ryan, they were all really nice. Uncle Ryan even let me try his hat on, it is pretty heavy, not sure it suits me!
After everything was done at the Police College we went and had naps so we could be well rested for a dinner celebration. We went downtown to a fancy restaurant 38 floors up at the Westin Harbour Castle on the water in Toronto. It was really neat we could see the planes landing and taking off and all the boats on the water, plus the food was fantastic. Gigi let me play with her camera and take pictures, I think I did pretty good!
Here is a group picture that the waiter took.
After dinner we went outside to the Pier to look at the boats and we ended up meeting a nice little doggy that had the same name as one of our dogs "Dexter"!
Oh yeah, we didn't bring baby Paige along to dinner, instead we had a baby free night. Cassie's nanny Hermie agreed to watch her for us since Cassie and her baby brother are away on a family vacation in the Bahama's! I think Paige had a good time with Hermie, she was fast asleep when we got back!!! We had a great time at Gigi and Papa's house, it was nice and relaxing, I think Papa really enjoyed having Paige and I there, we would sit in bed with him and watch cartoons!
We made it back to Tennessee safe and sound last night. Daddy is on call today so it is just us girls. Mommy is trying to get things unpacked and Paige and I are trying to be good little girls. Here is a few pics of us today, I am having a bit of a wild hair day! Paige is enjoying bouncing in her Jolly Jumper, check out the video below.
Well that is all for now, gotta go take my afternoon nap!
Love y'all,
Emmie and Paige

Visit with our Auntie's Amy & Sarah

We were so lucky to have our wonderful Auntie's Amy and Sarah come visit us over the past 5 days. They drove all the way from Canada to our house in Tennessee. Oh, I should mention that my Frog also went on the road trip with them. I left him in Canada so he jumped in the car and kept them company!!! We did so many fun things when they were here and mommy just kept saying how nice it was to have them around, she really misses them!
Doesn't it look like they had lots of fun on their road trip, I don't remember ours ever being that much fun...lol!
The day after they arrived we had a big party for the 4th of July with all of our neighbors, so they got to experience a southern cookout and fireworks, quite the experience.
Yes that is a picture of one of Paige's boyfriends, Grant, drinking a beer...silly boy, that stuff is for adults only!
Paige and I wore matching outfits that Gigi bought for us, don't we look cute. Paige was really excited because she is an American but I am Canadian!!!
We also had some friends over that Daddy works with one night for a Mexican dinner that Auntie's Amy and Sarah cooked, it was delicious. Paige spent most of her time flirting with her other boyfriend Atley, oh boy!

The weather is so hot that Gigi had Daddy go out and buy me a new pool for the backyard and it is big enough for all of us to go in. We spent lots of time playing in the pool, both Paige and I love it!

We got to spend lots of time chilling around the house and relaxing by the fire, Daddy makes a great fire. We also got to watch lots of different fireworks over the past few days, I really like watching them but I don't like the way they sound!

We also took them up to Bays Mountain Park to see the beautiful mountain and animals, it was a gorgeous day, it was lots of fun. We also took in a planetarium show, I am not too sure about that, it wasn't as much fun as watching Toy Story 3!

Mommy got to have a night out with the girls and gosh know she really deserves it. I think it is quite stressful sometimes with Paige and I, plus it doesn't help that my baby sister hasn't figured out how to sleep through the night!!! Mommy had a great time with the girls and was very thankful that Daddy was able to stay at home with Paige and I!!!

One last thing that I had to share, check out this crazy motorcylce that we saw on the interstate yesterday, unbelievable, how gross! Auntie's Amy and Sarah just kept saying "only in Tennessee" would you see something like that, and yes those are dead carcasses...

Well, Auntie's Amy and Sarah left today to head to Virginia Beach for a few days, I think they need a rest after spending so many days with Paige and I. We are so thankful that they were able to come and visit and help our Mommy out! We had so much fun with them and are sad they had to leave...

Now it is time to get ready to head back to Canada. Our Uncle Ryan is graduating from Police College and he paid to fly all of us home for his graduation on Friday. We are so proud of him and can't wait to celebrate with him!!! Airplane here we come....

Love y'all,
Emmie and Paige
