Sorry it has once again been a while since I have gotten on our blog. Things are so busy it is hard to find time to sit down and write our story. Of course we have been super busy but what else is new!!!
On the August long weekend we had our “Cousin Friends” the Silva’s in town for a 4 day visit, it was so nice to get to spend some time with them. We did some touristy stuff at Parliament, it was a beautiful day and we had a great time.
We also spent some time playing outside, watching movies and eating lots of yummy food!
Just a few days after the Silva’s left, Mommy, Paige, and I jumped into the car and drove to Toronto. Daddy had to work all weekend and there was a family BBQ at Lynn and Larry’s place so we decided we should go. Mommy drove all by herself with Paige and I and both of our dogs…needless to say she was very happy to get to Gigi and Papa’s house!
We had a fantastic time at the BBQ, it was so nice to get to see everyone!
Paige and I made sure to take some time to relax with Papa and watch some cartoons! Papa loves to watch cartoons with us.
Before we made the trip back to Ottawa we made sure to take a jaunt over to the Taste of the Danforth. It ended up being a wonderful afternoon with great music and yummy food. We took the picture below for Papa and Pop-Pop because they are both big time Toronto Maple Leaf fans!!!
On our car ride back Gigi took some pics of Paige and I in the car with the dogs, at one point I think we were all going a little crazy! We made it back to Ottawa late and it was really nice to get home to our own beds. Thank goodness Gigi was able to help Mommy with the ride back, not sure we would have made it without her!
Well that is all for now…time for bed!
Oh wait, one more thing to share with everyone…I am officially a “big girl now” because I no longer wear a pull-up, not even for naptime or bedtime!!!
