Hello everybody!!! Its Emmie here. Well, the times they are a changing! Our family (and therefore our blog) has expanded! Today I got to meet my beautiful little sister Paige Gwenleigh!
As many of you know, Mommy was planning on having something called a C-Section on April 5th. Paige had her own ideas however and decided she wanted to join us a little earlier. On March 24th mommy was having something called contraptions or contractions or something all day long. They were getting closer and closer and Mommies doctor said that it meant Paige was ready to come and see us. I got to stay at home with my new favorite babysitter (Sierra), while mommy and daddy packed up to head to the hospital around 10 pm.
Didn't mommy look good?! They very quickly got her ready for one of those C-Sections and before they knew it Paige was born!!!
Her full name is: Paige Gwenleigh Hollinger
Birthdate/time: March 24th, 2010 at 11:58pm
As you can see she weighed 6 lb 3 oz ( I weight 7 lb 5 oz when I was born 2 years ago!). She was 19 1/2" long too! Mommy was 37 weeks and 3 days along in her pregnancy.
She was a little icky when she came out, but unbelievably cute!
As you can imagine, many people have come to see her already! Here is our good friend/neighbour Kara
Much to my surprise and delight, Gigi also was able to fly down early and made it to Tennessee the very next morning! She and I are having lots of fun while mommy daddy and Paige have to stay at the hospital!
Lots of Daddy's friends from work have stopped by (I guess it helps that she was born where daddy works). There are of course many many people who are really hoping to meet her soon, but live far away! She did get lucky enough to meet Papa, and Uncle Ryan in Toronto and Granny and Pop-Pop in the middle of the desert in Borrega Springs. She met them by video conference straight from the hospital, isn't technology great?!

Well, I'm sure a lot of you are wondering how Paige and I are getting along so far! I was a little uncertain of her at first...
But quickly fell in love and gave her our first kiss!
I have now gotten to hold her several times, and everyone says I'm doing a wonderful job as a big sister!!
I even have a couple of videos to show you how well we are getting along! They are ridiculously cute, but Daddy is having some technical difficulties with the hospital internet... Hopefully this works!
Well, it has been a long day so I have to go for now. Can't wait to play with Paige again tomorrow and I hope she gets to meet all of y'all soon!
