If you have found this post, I'm just learning how to use our new Mac computer. I am sorry it has been so long since I updated the blog…once again time has just flown by!
Hard to believe, but my baby sister Paige is now 2! We got the chance to have a nice birthday celebration at Gigi and Papa's house and they invited Princess Aurora to the party and she actually came, it was
amazing to meet her in person, she is very nice. We had so much fun at her party and it was really nice to have our cousins come out to celebrate. Paige and I wish we lived closer to everyone!!!
Look at this cute picture of Paige posing just like a princess…she learnt that from me!
Princess Aurora came with lots of things to do at Paige's party. We got to make our own bracelets, get our nails painted,
put on make-up, dance to disney music and she read us a princess book, it was just perfect. In case some of you don't know
Princess Aurora is Paige's all-time favourite princess, so you can imagine how excited Paige was, it was a fantastic birthday
surprise.
We had a great time at Paige's party and we still can't believe she is already 2! Thanks to everyone that was able to come and celebrate at Gigi's!
It is always fun to get together with Auntie Amy, check out the silly pic of the two of us at the party….
We ended up celebrating Paige's birthday for a whole week with many different people. The first party was at Gigi's but after that we celebrated with
the Chambers family in Oakville, I love going to there place to play with Cassie, she has tons of great toys, it was lots of fun. Then we drove all the way
back to Ottawa….it is such a long drive but I guess not nearly as long as it use to take from Tennessee! The following weekend we celebrated with
Kara, Vance and Olivia at our place and had nice dinner, sorry no pics!!! Then Daddy had to work on Paige's actual birthday but the nurses
that he works with are super nice and they bought Paige an ice cream cake and we went up to the NICU and they sang her happy birthday! Last but not
least was a nice pancake birthday breakfast celebration with Uncle Brodie and Auntie Carrie, it was a whirl wind of parties and Paige and I loved every
minute of it! Sorry for the lack of pics…too much going on we just forgot.
Mommy and Daddy have both been really busy lately but they have been doing there best to make sure we get in some quality family time! Here in Ottawa
we live really close to a whole bunch of Maple Sugar Bush Farms, so we decided we should go and check one out. We went to the Proulx family farm and
it was fantastic. We got to go on a horse drawn wagon ride, we got to eat Maple syrup on snow, we played on the slides and went to the petting zoo, it was
lots of fun!
Something else Lita and I have been working on the past few days is trying to teach Paige how to use the potty now
that she is 2 years old it is time she learns!!! She really enjoys using her own little potty but I am not quite sure she
really understands why but she has used it a few times now!
Many of you may have already seen the brief post I did a week or so ago with all of the wonderful pics taken by a
photographer that Mommy hired, she did a fantastic job and got some really nice pics of all of us, check it out below.
Well I think that is all for tonight. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend.
Hip Hoppity Happy Easter!
Love y'all,
Emmie and Paige
